This is the result of a poster project for the 200th anniversary of Henry David Thoreau, the great poetic radical of America. The project was led by lecturer Jürgen Hefele at the University of Applied Sciences in Augsburg.
Thoreau was a free thinker, poet and interrogator of social norms. The values according to which Thoreau lived are transferred to the present day.
The poster encourages to question and break through boundaries, whether self–imposed or dictated by society, in order to lead a self–reflective, meaningful life.
